About Margarita

Margarita has a party girl name and the ears to match it! We can never figure out which direction they're going to be going at any given moment. Coming all the way from Puerto Rico, this little lady was rescued from a life on the streets with her sisters when they were little babies. She's a slow burn, and patience is key for our sweet Margarita. She's very unsure in new situations, but does very well when other confident dogs are around to help her out. She'd do very well in a home with some other pup siblings. Margarita loves to play, and she loves to be outside. We think she'll make a great adventure partner one day! She hasn't met cats yet, but we have no reason to think she won't get along with them. She also hasn't met children, and as long as introductions are slow, calm and careful, we think she'll be okay with them, too! Margarita is doing well with leash training, potty training, and crate training! We do not know what breed Margarita is, possibly a lab mix, but a very petite one! Whatever she is, it's a cute combo. We anticipate she will grow into a small/middle-sized adult, possibly around 25-40lb, but of course, they do sometimes surprise us!

Ideal Home

A home with other confident, resident dogs to help Margarita feel more secure. A patient family willing to give her the time, space, and attention she needs to blossom.

Ongoing Health

Margarita is not yet spayed and is still finishing up all her vaccines. She is currently available only as Foster-to-Adopt, where a potential adopter takes over as her foster, then finalizes everything after Margarita has been spayed.

Training & Support

Margarita is doing well with leash training, potty training, and crate training. She is shy in new situations and will need a patient family to help her build confidence.
