Moon

Moon is a sweet 2-year-old lab-saluki mix who came to us all the way from Kuwait. She was rescued after a poisoning incident that left her with some vision impairment. Despite this challenge, Moon is incredibly resilient and has worked hard to adapt to her world. She is affectionate and loves her trainer, showing a wonderful capacity for connection. Moon thrives on routine and clear structure, which helps her feel secure and in control of her environment.

Ideal Home

Moon needs a calm and predictable home where her adopter can provide consistent structure and continue the positive reinforcement training she received. She would do best as the only dog in the household and should not be in a home with young children.

Ongoing Health

Moon has some vision impairment as a result of a past poisoning. While she has recovered some sight, her vision is still affected.

Training & Support

Moon has undergone a six-month board and train program where she learned valuable skills, including polite leash walking and peaceful coexistence with other dogs. It's important that her adopter continues these practices. Her former trainers are committed to offering ongoing guidance and support to her new family.
