Mookie

Mookie is an adorable 2-year-old Shih Tzu looking for a loving forever home. This sweet, friendly, playful, and affectionate little guy enjoys being around people and gets along well with other dogs and children. He came from a hoarding situation after being owner surrendered, so he may need a little time and patience to adjust to a new environment. Once he feels safe, his loving personality shines through. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a chance to thrive, Mookie could be the perfect addition to your family.

Ideal Home

Mookie enjoys the company of other dogs and children. His needs regarding cats have not been assessed.

Ongoing Health

Mookie is vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter if over 3 months of age, rabies, bordetella, DHPP, and microchip.

Training & Support

Mookie is crate trained but will need additional guidance to become fully housebroken. Patience will be key as he adjusts to a new environment.

Transporation

Mookie is currently located in McAllen, Texas. He can be transported to the East Coast, mainly serving NJ, PA, CT, RI, VT, and NH, with a private transporter once adopted. Drop-off locations can be provided, but there are currently no drop-offs in New York or Philadelphia due to a USDA ban.
