Blitz

MEET BLITZ! This magnificent, nearly 3-year-old Doberman is a stunning 85-pound male with a deep, chocolate-red coat. Blitz is a substantial dog with European Doberman ancestry, known for their impressive bone structure and larger heads. He's a loving companion to those he knows, though he's been working through some past fears and suspicions, particularly around strangers in confined spaces. His training is going wonderfully and is helping him tremendously.

Ideal Home

Blitz has a high energy level and would thrive with a yard where he can run and play to his heart's content. Due to his impressive size and strength, a home without small children is a must. Experience with Dobermans or large breeds is essential for his adoption.

Ongoing Health

Blitz has been diagnosed with hypo-thyroidism and is on inexpensive thyroid medication, which he will likely need to take for the rest of his life.

Training & Support

Blitz can sometimes be a bit stubborn, but his ongoing training is making a huge difference. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, having previously lived happily with a female Doberman.
