Meet Genevieve, a 3-year-old Husky mix with a heart of gold and a personality to match! After a tough start in a Houston kill shelter, where she underwent surgery to remove two tumors (one weighing a remarkable 8 pounds!), Genevieve is ready to leave her past behind and find her forever home. One of the tumors was benign, and the other was likely completely removed with an excellent prognosis. While a few more small growths remain, they are not currently a concern and will not be addressed.
Genevieve is a true beauty queen who deserves all the love and attention in the world. She thrives when she's the center of your universe and will shower you with affection in return. She's been through so much, and her resilience is truly inspiring.
Ideal Home
Genevieve needs to be the only pet in the household. She is not suitable for homes with other animals. She requires a dedicated owner who can provide her with all the attention she craves.
Ongoing Health
Genevieve has had two tumors removed. One was benign, and the other has an excellent prognosis for no reoccurrence. A few other small growths remain but are not currently a concern and will not be operated on.
Training & Support
Genevieve can be quite vocal and "mouthy" when she doesn't get her way. She needs a patient and understanding owner who can manage her dramatic moments and reinforce that she will be the sole focus of her new family's world.
