As of June 17, 2026, Jake is approximately 19 lbs and 4 months old. While we don't know his exact breed, he sports beautiful Shepherd colors! Jake is a truly special dog, brimming with pure love and ready to be a lively and sweet addition to any family. He's incredibly sweet, cuddly, and genuinely good with everyone, including children. Having only known love, he's eager to share his affection. Jake is an adaptable and easy-going companion who aims to please, often looking to his foster for approval – it's quite endearing! He's also a good listener and appears to understand commands, like when asked to get off the couch. He's a happy and friendly pup who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, currently living harmoniously with several. Jake is also great with cats and gives them their space. He is fully vaccinated and ready to embark on his journey to find his forever home!

Transportation
Jake is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will fly to his forever home once adopted. We can easily arrange flights into major airports like JFK, EWR, BLD, BWI, IAD, DCA, and PHL, among many others. We welcome adopters in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions and are happy to discuss transport to your location. We also coordinate all in-cabin flights to the mainland U.S., making the process smooth and simple.
