Athena is a 1-year-old Terrier mix, weighing about 35 pounds, who is spayed and microchipped. She's a playful, curious, and affectionate pup with a big personality, often seen enjoying zoomies! Athena and her siblings were sadly found abandoned, but she's blossomed beautifully in her foster home. She's an active girl who loves to play and needs a home that can provide plenty of outlets for her energy and enrichment. Athena is currently learning to understand social boundaries with other dogs and truly enjoys canine companionship, thriving with playful pups of all sizes. She's a fast learner, already mastering "sit," "down," "drop it," and "come," and will continue to excel with positive reinforcement and ongoing training.
Ideal Home
Athena would do best in an active home that can provide daily exercise and mental enrichment, appropriate chew toys, and continued training and socialization. While she loves interacting with dogs and is learning to read their cues, a home without cats might be ideal due to her strong play drive. A family that understands and embraces puppy behaviors, offering patience and consistency as she matures, will help Athena grow into a wonderful companion.
Ongoing Health
Athena is up-to-date on her vaccinations and spayed. As a young dog, she is still in a chewing phase and needs appropriate chew toys and guidance.
Training & Support
Athena knows "sit," "down," "drop it," and "come" and is eager to continue learning with positive reinforcement. She's working on understanding canine social cues and would benefit from continued socialization and training.
