Hi there, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic pup who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me the ropes of my new home. I can be a bit shy and timid when I first meet new people or try new things, but I warm up quickly. My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail! I am missing part of my tail, but I promise you, I'm not missing any personality! I came all the way from Texas, and since it's a bit chilly up here, I absolutely love snuggling up in a blanket next to my people. I sleep soundly in my kennel at night and am very quiet. I'm working hard on potty training and am doing so well with frequent potty breaks. I'll need someone to continue teaching me polite manners and how to walk nicely on a leash. I love treats and am eager to please, so I know we can work on this together! As a puppy, I enjoy playing with toys, especially bones and chew items! My foster mom throws balls for me, but I'm still learning the joy of fetch and prefer she retrieve them. While I'm still learning not to jump up to say hello, I greet everyone with enthusiasm and love! I've been around people of all ages, including children, and love them all! I've also met a cat, and though I was a little scared at first, we're becoming fast friends. I've met some big dogs, and I learn a lot from them, following their lead. I know when they're done playing and will go find a toy instead. I enjoy running and chasing them around the yard, and they seem to enjoy playing with me too! I'd love to meet someone who can see past my initial shyness and recognize the amazing pup I am!
