He is fully housebroken and sleeps peacefully either in his crate or cuddled up on the bed, happily snuggling close and sometimes climbing on you in the morning to start the day. Russell is neutral and appropriate with other dogs. He shows curiosity toward cats and squirrels, but he is responsive to redirection and continues to improve his focus on walks. He walks nicely on a loose leash and responds well to gentle guidance. This confident boy has lovely manners around the home. He sits quietly at the door, waits to be invited inside by name, and is learning to maintain his doorway boundaries even when visitors arrive. He may give a brief alert bark if someone approaches the fence or rings the doorbell, but he is otherwise quiet and relaxed indoors. Russell already understands sit, down, and stay with hand signals and is beginning to learn verbal cues. He is a smart, eager dog who will continue to blossom with consistency and love.
