Max truly loves life and is an intelligent, obedient dog eager to learn and very in tune with people. He knows most commands and enjoys working with his handler. Max builds strong bonds once he feels safe, and his calm, happy personality shines through. He was found at a kill shelter in NY and was initially frightened, but he has blossomed in his foster home and is now comfortable and happy around people. He loves walks, exploring, and car rides, and has a sweet, playful side, enjoying his favorite toys. Max thrives with structure and enjoys relaxing in his crate after walks. He may be shy at first, but he becomes a loyal and devoted companion once he trusts you.
