Cloe is an 80-pound, spayed, 9-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart of gold! She's a big teddy bear who loves to snuggle up and chill out with her people. After a difficult past, Cloe was rescued and is now looking for her forever home. She's a calm and confident girl when she's home, enjoying sunbathing and playing with her squeaky toys. Cloe is house-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained, and she doesn't suffer from separation anxiety. She has completed a board-and-train program that has significantly improved her impulsivity and reactivity, and she's eager to continue her progress.
Ideal Home
Cloe would thrive in a patient and loving home with adults only. She would do best as the only dog in the household or with a very calm, large dog (her size or bigger). A secure, fenced-in yard is highly recommended to help manage her walks and impulsive nature. She must not live with cats due to her strong prey drive, and a home without small children is preferred. She would make an amazing companion for someone who works from home.
Ongoing Health
Cloe is spayed and up-to-date on shots and microchip. She has a history of impulsivity and reactivity that has greatly improved with training.
Training & Support
Cloe has completed a board-and-train program and her impulsivity/reactivity has improved. She would benefit from continued training sessions to maintain her progress. She has no known bad behaviors other than her manageable impulses.
