Hunny

Meet Hunny! This sweet mama, weighing in at around 40 pounds, has a heart of gold and a coat to match. She began her story in a field, bravely raising eight puppies. After they were safely rescued, Hunny found herself alone and terrified in a shelter, leading her to shut down and unfortunately, be placed on the euthanasia list due to her fear. Thankfully, she was given a second chance and is now slowly discovering the world can be a safe and loving place. With her charming floppy-eared ears and a delightful little prance, Hunny is blossoming into the joyful dog she was always meant to be. She's a calm, gentle, and thoughtful companion, and her soulful eyes tell a story of resilience.

Ideal Home

Hunny is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can help her continue to build confidence. A home with a confident canine companion would be ideal, as she often looks to other dogs for reassurance and would likely thrive with a buddy to help her navigate new experiences.

Ongoing Health

Hunny's adoption fee of $350 includes her spay surgery, microchip, and current vaccinations.

Training & Support

Hunny is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash in familiar and comfortable environments. She can be shy in new situations but is making wonderful progress. She thrives on routine, patience, and kindness, allowing her to move at her own pace. Once she trusts you, her sweet and loving nature will truly shine.
