Pierre De Ronsard Rose *LOCAL*

Pierre De Ronsard is a delightful 5-month-old puppy weighing 32 lbs, with a name as charming as his personality. He and his siblings were named after varieties of beautiful roses, and Pierre truly embodies the spirit of playfulness and gentleness. His smart and funny antics will keep you entertained and smiling all day long. He's eager to share his love and joy with a forever family who appreciates a loyal and playful companion. He's friendly with everyone he meets, including kids, dogs, and cats, approaching them with curiosity and playfulness. Pierre has even attended events in the park and yoga classes!

Pierre is looking for a family who will appreciate his playful and gentle nature. As a puppy, he'll need patience and guidance as he learns.

Ongoing Health

Pierre was born to a mother dog who tested positive for heartworm disease. While the microfilariae he may have inherited will not develop into adult heartworms in him, SOS recommends keeping him on a monthly heartworm preventative like Advantage Multi or Parasedge for at least the first three months after adoption to ensure any remaining microfilaria are eliminated. This product also protects against fleas. An additional tick preventative (oral) should be used. He is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Being just a puppy, Pierre has a lot to learn! He will need house training, crate training, and to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend obedience classes for all our dogs to help with learning commands, confidence building, and socialization.
