Hi Ho! It's Kermit the Dog!

Kermit is a smart, sturdy, handsome 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix weighing in at around 57lbs. He has a striking cream coat with soft tiger striping and the kind of floppy ears that seal the deal. Kermit is calm, curious, and wonderfully gentle, taking life in stride. He enjoys exploring his surroundings without being overly energetic and is happiest close to his people. He identifies as a small dog and will happily plop himself in your lap for hugs and kisses if given the chance! Kermit leans toward the needy side emotionally and finds a lot of comfort in companionship, both human and canine. He is ready to bring his sweet nature, steady companionship, and enormous heart to a forever family of his own.

Ideal Home

Kermit would truly thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he finds a lot of comfort in companionship.

Ongoing Health

Kermit has an injury in one eye and a hitch in his step from a run-in with a car. Both are in the process of healing and do not slow him down.

Training & Support

Kermit finds comfort in companionship and would benefit from a home where he can be close to his people.

• Adoption fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, current on recommended preventions.
• Applications are processed in the order they are received. Please allow a couple of days for processing as we are a volunteer-based organization.

Transporation

Kermit is in a foster home in Corpus Christi, TX, and can be transported once adopted. Our animals are listed in different cities throughout the country that have transport available.
