Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix who weighs about 40 pounds. This happy-go-lucky girl has a huge heart and an even bigger personality! She's playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind – the type of dog who brings joy and laughter everywhere she goes. Cally loves other dogs of all sizes and plays beautifully with both males and females. She can play for hours and would enjoy a canine companion, but she'd also be perfectly happy as an only dog, as long as she gets plenty of playtime and activity. Cally is excellent with children of all ages and is always gentle and friendly. She's also very welcoming to strangers and enjoys meeting new people. Cally is fully crate trained, house trained, and does great in a car kennel. She is learning to have more freedom indoors and needs supervision to prevent her from getting into shoes or blankets. She does not have separation anxiety and sleeps soundly in her crate when left alone. Cally needs to be fed separately from other dogs, but she is not protective of toys or treats. She is very food-motivated, making training fun and rewarding. One of her most charming traits is her biggest, silliest smile when she's getting affection. She's also a world-class cuddler and a well-behaved couch potato if invited.
Ideal Home
Cally thrives with daily playtime and opportunities to run, at least twice a day. She would benefit from a home that can provide plenty of toys and a dedicated crate for decompression. A family willing to keep up with her energy and continue her training will help her shine.
Ongoing Health
No specific health concerns were mentioned in the listing.
Training & Support
Cally may pull on the leash initially due to excitement, but she calms down with continued training. While house-trained, she is still learning to have full freedom indoors and needs supervision to prevent chewing on items like shoes or blankets. She does best sleeping alone in her crate. Cally needs to be fed separately from other dogs, as she is uncomfortable eating near them.
