Shadow

Shadow is a sweet girl who was found as a stray and brought to our shelter. She spent some time with a kind finder who described her as extremely cuddly and wonderful with dogs and cats. Shadow is a bit shy at first, especially with new people and loud noises, but she's bravely opening up! She's a little shadow, following her favorite people around, and is sure to be a devoted best friend. She walks well on a leash and is potty trained. We estimate Shadow is 6-8 months old and will likely be around 40 pounds when fully grown. She's made wonderful progress at the shelter, learning to trust people, and we believe she would do exceptionally well in a home with a more confident dog to show her the ropes. Despite her initial nervousness, she absolutely loves being with her person, going for walks, and getting belly rubs. Once she trusts you, her loving nature truly shines through.

Ongoing Health

Shadow has been diagnosed with Heartworm and is currently undergoing treatment, including injections. Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough).

Training & Support

Shadow is potty trained and walks well on a leash. She may take a day or two to open up to new people, but once she trusts you, she shows it with her affection.

Shadow is currently at Green Hills Animal Shelter. Transport to surrounding areas may be available.
