Tiago - Located in GA

Tiago is a resilient 10-year-old Malinois who, despite a past filled with abuse and neglect, has emerged with a spirit ready to embrace love and peace. He was surrendered to a high-kill shelter by his owner but has since found a safe haven with MAD. Now, he's eagerly awaiting a guardian angel to offer him a forever home filled with joy, safety, and affection.

Ideal Home

Tiago would thrive as the only dog in the household, as he has experienced trauma from past dog attacks. An experienced handler would be best equipped to manage him if he were to be introduced to another dog. He prefers to interact on his own terms and exhibits "grumpy old man" vibes. He is not recommended for homes with cats or young children.

Ongoing Health

Tiago is a senior dog experiencing typical "old man symptoms" such as achy joints and partial vision loss, leading to lower energy levels. He is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines.

Training & Support

This distinguished gentleman is already potty trained, house trained, and crate trained. He's also non-destructive when left to roam freely. Tiago knows his basic commands and loves a good game of fetch, is obsessed with balls, and enjoys treats.

Transporation

Tiago is currently located in central Georgia. Our rescue is an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, you will be expected to pick him up. We provide transport assistance for distances up to 350 miles; you will need to drive the remainder of the distance.
