My name is Fergie-Faye! I'm a 1-1/2 year-old Boxer-Bully mix with a heart full of love, just waiting to share it with my forever family. My reddish fur is highlighted by a charming white splotch on my face and chest, and I have four adorable white paws. My tail, like a paintbrush, has a white tip that wags with excitement. Weighing around 50 pounds, I might be a big girl, but I'm a total lapdog at heart. I'm incredibly sweet, gentle, and I just adore people!
My favorite pastimes include zooming around the yard, playing with my doggy siblings and the human kiddos, and happily chewing on bones. But honestly, my absolute favorite thing in the world is snuggling up with my humans on the couch. Naps and treats are also high on my list! I'm a pro at walking on a leash, I'm crate-trained, and I'm completely housebroken. My foster mom also says I'm a good watchdog because I'll let you know if there's anything new outside. I sleep soundly through the night with no accidents and happily go into my crate when my foster mom is at work. When bedtime rolls around, I love curling up on the bed with my canine sisters and humans.
A super cool trick I'm learning is to ring a bell to let my foster mom know when I need to go outside. I already know "sit," and I'm working hard on "off." "Off" can be a little tricky for me because I get so excited when I meet someone new, but I'm getting so close! I'm also pretty good at coming when I'm called, though sometimes I get a bit distracted by all the exciting things around me. Fergie-Faye has been examined by licensed veterinarians, has received all age-appropriate inoculations, has been tested for diseases, and has been dewormed. She has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Fergie-Faye is housebroken and crate trained. She is learning to ring a bell to go outside and is working on the "off" command. She comes when called most of the time but can be easily distracted.
