Holliday is a charming and affectionate 2-year-old, likely Border Collie mix, who brings boundless love and goofy antics to his forever home. He's a "tippy-tappy" sweetheart who leans into cuddles and dreams of being a lap dog. Holliday is smart, eager to please, and responsive to guidance, making him a joy to train.

Ideal Home

Holliday would thrive in a home with a yard where he can safely explore and build his leash skills. He'd also do well with older children who can handle his enthusiastic greetings. A home with medium-energy, similarly sized dogs who can teach him the ropes of play would be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Holliday is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative. He has been tested for heartworms and treated if necessary.

Training & Support

Holliday is still learning some of the nuances of home life, like proper couch etiquette. He can be a bit jumpy when excited and pulls on the leash, especially around other dogs. With a confident handler and continued leash training, he's making great progress. He is very responsive to direction and listens well.

Holliday is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
