Hi there! My name is Mika, and I'm a 16 lb spayed Terrier mix who is 100% pure joy! I was rescued in 2022 after being hit by a car in Tijuana, which left me with hind-legs paralysis. But don't feel sorry for me, because I'm super resilient and nothing stops me! I'm famous for my unique "spinal walk" and a funny hopping way of getting around, and I'm actually extremely fast!

My motto is: Being different is cool! I love to teach kids this as an ambassador, and I'm also the biggest lover and cuddle bug you will ever meet. I enjoy sunbathing, playtime, and getting lots of pets and attention. I'm pretty good on leash and don't mind a crate. I have no separation anxiety. While I may take a moment to warm up to new adults, I absolutely adore kids! I've never met cats, but I'm super duper dog friendly and get along with everyone. My pawfect day includes a good sunbathing session, playtime with friends, lots of attention and love, being diaper-free in the yard, and then getting my diaper back on so I can roll around on the dog beds. I also LOVE going out. For longer walks, a wagon is perfect - I feel just like a little princess!
Ideal Home
A home with a yard is ideal, and someone who is home most of the time. I'm the best companion ever, so you wouldn't want to be away from me for too long anyway.
Ongoing Health
I have hind-legs paralysis due to a spinal injury and am incontinent. I need to wear diapers when inside.
Training & Support
I am crate and leash trained. I may be a little barky when playing or excited, but it's nothing that cannot be managed.
