Reagan

Reagan is a handsome one-year-old Anatolian Shepherd weighing in at 105 pounds. He came to us from a large hoarding situation where he, along with many other dogs, were not given the socialization they needed. Despite his past, Reagan has a surprisingly good attitude and is the most confident of the group! He's still learning about household routines and all the strange things humans consider normal, but he's eager to engage and learn. Reagan is not a "project" dog in the scary sense; he's a young, giant breed who just needs patience, structure, and someone with common sense. He's sweet, friendly, and clearly wants to be a good boy!

Ideal Home

Reagan would do best in a home with a confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes, though he's not as dependent on this as some of the other dogs from his case. He is good with other dogs and cats. Due to his size and ongoing learning process, a home with children over 10 years old is recommended. He will be well over 100 pounds when fully grown, so his adopter must be prepared for a large livestock guardian breed with a strong personality and opinions. A securely fenced yard is a must!
