Hobbes

Hobbes is a charming, approximately six-year-old male Yellow Labrador Retriever mix with a unique personality that's sure to win you over! He was a stray when he came to us, and while he was initially quite fearful and timid, our dedicated volunteers worked wonders with him, helping him blossom into the wonderful companion he is today. He's a great dog with a quirky charm that you'll just have to experience in person!

Ideal Home

Hobbes needs a home with a 6' high, solid wooden fence, as he's quite the climber and can scale chain-link fences with ease. He is doing well with other dogs and children aged 10 and up.

Ongoing Health

The previous family mentioned Hobbes had occasional seizures, though we have not witnessed any during his time with us.

Training & Support

Hobbes is a great companion, and with his past overcoming fear, he's proven to be resilient. While specific training needs beyond his fence requirements aren't detailed, his successful journey from a fearful stray indicates a strong capacity for bonding and learning with a loving owner.
