Debo

Hi, my name is Debo! I've got a bit of a past, but I'm ready to start fresh with the right person. I can be a little odd at first, being cautious around new people until I know they're safe. I'm not shy about using my voice to let you know how I feel either! I came to the shelter because I was a bit too much for my previous owners. I'm smart, perhaps a little too smart, and have been known to climb just about anything if I set my mind to it. On top of that, I’ve got a strong prey drive, so I'm not the best fit for homes with kids, cats, or other small animals. I’m very much an "only dog" kind of guy and prefer to have all the attention to myself. What I really need is someone who understands me, respects my boundaries, and can give me structure, training, and patience. If you're looking for a loyal, one-of-a-kind companion who will keep life interesting, then I'm your guy.

Ideal Home

Debo needs a home that understands him, respects his boundaries, and can provide structure, training, and patience. He is not the best fit for homes with children, cats, or other small animals due to his strong prey drive. He is an "only dog" and prefers to have all the attention to himself.
