Lila, a young mixed-breed sweetheart, is known for her warm caramel coloring, gentle eyes, and a calm, loving presence that quickly wins hearts. Her foster kids lovingly call her "Chocolate Chip" because she's as sweet, comforting, and impossible not to love as the treat itself. Lila possesses a naturally gentle energy, enjoying playtime and social interaction while maintaining an easygoing confidence. She's happy to be quietly nearby, a comforting presence without demanding constant attention. Lila greets new people with warmth and curiosity, settles easily into new surroundings, and is comfortable with handling. Her steady, patient temperament makes her feel safe and trustworthy, especially with children. Having grown up with other dogs, Lila is very social and thrives with canine companionship, feeling most secure when another dog is around. She is playful, submissive, and easygoing with other pups, easily adapting to social situations.
Ideal Home
Lila would love a home with another friendly dog sibling to help her continue to shine. She thrives with canine companionship and truly feels most secure when she has another dog around. We recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
Ongoing Health
Lila's left eye has a unique appearance due to an old injury from when she was a baby and needed stitches after being bitten. She healed beautifully and this does not affect her in any way.
Training & Support
Lila is eager to please and responds beautifully to gentle guidance. She is still learning basic leash skills and crate training, but she is cooperative and adaptable, making her a wonderful dog to guide and grow alongside.
