Rocco adores people and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, making him an easy fit for almost any family. Wherever Rocco goes, you'll find him happily sniffing around and taking in the world at his own curious pace. He enjoys the best of both worlds: relaxing on the couch and soaking up affection, while also loving his walks and exploring new sights and smells. Despite his age, he still gets excited for his daily adventures and enjoys meeting new friends along the way. Rocco has been thriving in his foster home and has proven himself to be an incredibly well-mannered companion. He is house-trained, crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and comes when called. He is respectful in the home, doesn't get into things, and has wonderful house manners. Rocco rarely barks, shows no signs of aggression, and approaches new people, animals, and situations with a calm, easygoing attitude. He enjoys the company of other dogs but isn't much for roughhousing. At the dog park, he's more interested in exploring than joining the chaos. He will occasionally play with a ball, but his favorite activities are leisurely walks, investigating new scents, and spending time with his people. When the adventures are over, Rocco is happiest curled up beside the people he loves. He enjoys snuggling but is also independent enough to relax on his own. He does occasionally get a little jealous when another dog is receiving all the attention, simply wanting to make sure he gets his fair share of affection too.
