Meet Lyra, a strikingly beautiful grey and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix with the most precious face and a heart full of love just waiting to be given to the right person. This sweet girl arrived as a stray on April 22nd, and she now waits for someone to recognize just how truly special she is. How a dog this gorgeous and this good ended up alone is simply impossible to understand.

Lyra already knows how to sit when asked and walks beautifully on leash. At 3 years old and 40 pounds, she is in the perfect prime of her life – mature enough to be settled and well-mannered, yet young enough to have endless years of love and loyalty still ahead of her.

Ideal Home

Lyra is ready for her forever person. As she came in as a stray, her previous living situation with children or other pets is unknown. Your current pet is welcome to meet Lyra for a meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility.

Ongoing Health

Lyra is heartworm negative and up to date on all of her vaccines. She will be spayed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Lyra already knows how to sit and walks beautifully on leash. As she was a stray, we do not know if she is house-trained.
