Summer Smiles is believed to be a German Shepherd mix, approximately 4 years old and weighing 45 lbs. She's a go-with-the-flow girl, happy wherever she is and whoever she's with, making it nearly impossible not to fall for her friendly and goofy personality.

Ideal Home

Summer would do great in a home with another dog that enjoys playful romps and shared adventures. She's also very respectful of cats and can adjust to a feline housemate. Summer would love a backyard for zooming, playing, and sunbathing, but she also has the potential to thrive in an apartment or condo. She's a social butterfly who loves to be part of the action, making her a perfect companion for someone who enjoys hosting. Summer also adores children and has a special connection with them.

Summer's health is up-to-date with all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, and a heartworm preventative injection.

Training & Support

Summer is a treat-motivated learner who already knows how to sit on command. She walks well on a leash and is both crate and potty trained. She's an excellent candidate for hikes, park visits, and even beach trips.

Transporation

Summer is currently located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through their USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in various states and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
