Glynnis is a sweet and gentle girl, approximately 8 years old and weighing around 41 lbs. She came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and is eagerly awaiting her furever family. Glynnis has thrived in foster care and has even participated in an immersive training program, making her a well-rounded companion ready for a loving home. She enjoys cuddles, gentle scratches, and showing her affection with lots of kisses. Glynnis also loves playtime, walks, car rides, and napping on a soft blanket.
Ideal Home
Glynnis would do well in a home with older children, ages 10 and up. She can be vocal during play and likes to take breaks, so a resident dog who is tolerant of this play style and doesn't mind slow introductions might be a good match. She needs a home that will give her time to adjust to new situations and will ensure she receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and ongoing training.
Ongoing Health
Glynnis is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has moderate tartar on her teeth, and a future dental cleaning is recommended by her vet. Glynnis has been started on an inexpensive anxiety medication to help with shelter stress, which she should be able to wean off of once settled in her new home.
Training & Support
As a graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups training, Glynnis knows commands such as sit, stay, down, come, drop it, leave it, and place. She also practices good door etiquette and walks well on a leash. While she sometimes reacts to other dogs from a distance on walks, her trainer has been working with her on this and can provide guidance. Glynnis is not a fan of the crate but sleeps comfortably outside of it. She is house-trained and does not typically get into things she shouldn't. Ongoing training support is available through Mostly Mutts.
