Nelson - The Mannerly Pooch

Meet Nelson, a handsome Lab mix who is about 1-2 years old. He's the sweetest, most polite boy you could ever hope to meet! Nelson is fully potty trained and is currently working on his crate training. He walks beautifully on a leash, is wonderfully well-mannered, and absolutely loves other dogs. Nelson is non-reactive and easygoing, happiest when he's by your side for a quiet walk, a weekend adventure (he's great in the car!), or simply relaxing at home. He prefers sleeping in bed with his foster and sleeps through the night without any problems.

Nelson's past is a testament to his resilience; he was abandoned and left to survive on the streets of Puerto Rico. Despite his hardships, he has never stopped believing in people, choosing love and embracing every chance for a better life. Now, he's discovering what it means to be safe, cared for, and cherished, and he's ready for his forever family.

Ideal Home

Nelson deserves a home where he'll never again wonder if he's loved. He needs someone who will see the incredible, loyal, gentle soul that he is and promise to love him forever.

Nelson is neutered and vaccinated.

Nelson is fully potty trained and is currently working on his crate training. He is already walking beautifully on a leash and is well-mannered, not jumping when greeted.
