Meet Harper! ❤️ Harper is a sweet, affectionate girl who recently returned to DHS due to changes in her family's schedule and home dynamics. She's ready to find a forever home where she can settle in and be a cherished member of the family. She's a low-key girl who doesn't require a lot of exercise. A daily walk, some outdoor time, and plenty of love are all she needs to be happy. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will happily spend her days by your side or soaking up the sunshine, Harper could be the perfect match for you!

Ideal Home

Harper thrives on companionship and enjoys being close to her people. She can experience some separation anxiety if left alone for long periods, so she'd do best with someone who is home often or has a securely fenced yard where she can spend time outside--her absolute favorite place to be! Harper has lived with children and has done well. Because she's a larger dog, she may be the best fit for a home with older kids to help prevent accidental bumps or knockdowns during play.

Ongoing Health

Harper is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and is spayed.

Training & Support

Harper is house-trained and kennel-trained (though she'll need a secure, escape-proof kennel when crated), and walks wonderfully on a leash. She gets along well with both dogs and cats. She comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org, which includes access to trainers/behaviorists and online materials.
