Rufus

Rufus is a charming mixed-breed, estimated to be around 1.8 years old, who was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas. He's a delightful blend of what appears to be Lab, Cattle Dog, and perhaps a few other breeds, but his most defining characteristic is his boundless sweetness and gentle spirit. Rufus is a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and showing no aggression towards farm animals. He has a particular fondness for greeting pigs with gentle kisses! Rufus is a pleasure on walks, attentive and eager to please, and he absolutely adores giving and receiving affection. He's a true lovebug who thrives on human connection.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm positive but has already begun slow-kill treatment, which is part of his ongoing care.
