Milz

Milz is a spirited young male Australian Shepherd mix looking for an active family to share his love of adventure! He was surrendered because he had a tendency to nip at horses, which is likely a result of his strong herding instincts. Milz would be happiest in a home without horses or other small animals. He's got endless energy and would love to join you on hikes, runs, or even just splash around in the water. He's a big fan of squeaky toys and is always up for a game of fetch. Milz has met some teenage kids and did well, though he does tend to jump up when excited. He already knows "sit" and is a smart boy who will thrive with continued training and consistency as he settles into his new home. When it comes to other dogs, Milz prefers calmer, smaller playgroups over large, chaotic ones. He does prefer to keep his toys to himself, so it's best to manage toy time around his canine friends.

Milz would do best in a home without horses or other small animals. He is looking for an active family who can keep up with his energy and provide him with plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures.
