Rain

Meet Rain! This sweet 50lb, 3-year-old girl is quiet, affectionate, and eager to please. Rain's happiest moments are spent close to her people, whether she's relaxing beside you, lounging in the grass, or enjoying a favorite chin rub. She has a calm and gentle nature but still loves to play and be part of the family's activities. Rain is a joy to take on walks, always walking beautifully on leash, and is just as content to settle in for a nap afterward. She's house-trained, knows "sit" and "shake," takes treats gently, and even tolerates baths like a champ. Rain has experience living with other dogs and enjoys their company. She's still learning to read every dog's social cues and can sometimes get a bit too enthusiastic during play. A family willing to help her continue navigating these interactions will be key to her success. Most of all, Rain wants to be loved. A head rub, a scratch under the chin, or a lap to lean against will quickly show you just how special she is. Sweet, loyal, and full of quiet affection, Rain is ready to be someone's very best friend.

Ideal Home

Rain enjoys being outdoors and is happy to be part of your family's adventures. She enjoys living with other dogs and would likely do well in a home with canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Rain is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and current on recommended preventions.

Training & Support

Rain is house-trained, knows "sit" and "shake," takes treats gently, and does well with baths. She is still learning to read social cues during dog play and would benefit from continued guidance in this area.

Transportation

Rain is currently in a foster home in South Texas. She is available for transport to her new family's area once adopted.
