Pinto, also known as Bean, Baby, and Stinker Boy, is an affectionate seven-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix weighing 10 pounds. He is low to moderate energy, enjoys naps and cuddles, and has playful bursts with his favorite tennis ball. Pinto is people-oriented, easygoing, and loves following his person like a little shadow.

He adjusts wonderfully to new situations, is friendly with everyone he meets, and enjoyed cuddling with three children during movie nights. He is comfortable with guests and does well when left alone. Pinto is still building confidence around other dogs and would do best with a calm, relaxed canine companion or as the only dog.

Ideal Home

Pinto would thrive with a patient adopter who can provide affection, attention, companionship, reassurance, and praise. He enjoys walks, fetch, car rides, naps, and cuddles.

Ongoing Health

Pinto previously tested positive for heartworm and was treated before traveling north.

Training & Support

He is almost completely potty trained, walks perfectly on leash, and knows sit, come, stay, and “good boy.” He is smart, food-motivated, and enjoys following his person off-leash in a yard while chasing his ball.
