Meet Mabel!

Mabel is a sweet, playful girl around 1 year old who hasn't had the easiest start in life, but none of that has dimmed her spirit. Through patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love, she has truly blossomed into a wonderful companion. Mabel is deaf, but don't let that fool you – this smart girl is already learning hand signals and picking up on routines at the rescue like a pro. She's eager to please and thrives when she knows what's expected of her.

Ideal Home

Mabel absolutely adores her people and loves being close to them. If there's a dog friend around, it's game on! Mabel is a playful, energetic pup who enjoys wrestling and goofing around with other dogs. Because she's still figuring out just how big she is, her play style can be a little rough at times, but she's quickly become a favorite among the other dogs at the facility. Mabel needs a home that will continue to give her structure, guidance, and lots of love so she can keep growing into her best self. Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy.

Training & Support

Mabel has been working hard on her mouthiness and has made incredible progress in a short amount of time. With a little time to decompress, she settles into a calmer, more easygoing version of herself. She is already learning hand signals and picking up on routines at the rescue like a pro.
