With his striking russet-red and black coat, expressive ears, and a face full of personality, Ernie looks like he's always in the middle of a very important conversation. This handsome 2-year-old, 50lb shepherd mix is an athletic adventure buddy and an affectionate shadow, always ready to be involved in whatever his people are doing. Friendly, curious, playful, and wonderfully smart, Ernie does great with dogs of all sizes and brings a fun, gentle energy wherever he goes. He's the kind of dog who can give you a mischievous look one second and melt into you for affection the next, which makes his "I can explain" bandana feel extremely believable. Medium-sized, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, Ernie is already polished where it counts while still keeping that joyful, goofy spark that makes him impossible not to love. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with brains, beauty, and a twist of comedic timing, Ernie may be your guy.
