Anndalina is a 9 1/2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a beautiful black and white coat. She's a special girl who came to us through an emergency surrender. Poor Anndalina was experiencing distress with her tail and required immediate veterinary attention. After a thorough examination, it was determined that amputation was necessary to prevent infection. She underwent surgery and is now recovering in a loving foster home. Anndalina has had a challenging start in life, and she's looking for a patient and understanding family to help her blossom. Once she bonds with her people, she is incredibly affectionate, but it will take her time to settle into a new environment. She can be a bit nervous and overwhelmed by too many visitors, so a quiet home with a single person or a couple would be ideal. We've learned that she's okay with some dogs, but she would do best in a home without cats or children.
Ideal Home
Anndalina needs a patient and understanding home where she can adjust at her own pace. She would thrive in a quiet environment with a single person or a couple and would do best in a home without cats or young children. Due to her Chihuahua bark, a home where this won't be an issue is preferred. She needs a securely fenced-in yard and is not suited for apartment living.
Ongoing Health
Anndalina has had surgery to amputate part of her tail due to an injury. She is otherwise healthy and ready to find her forever home.
