Riot

Riot is a 1-year-old male Pitbull mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He came to us as a surrender alongside his brother, Chuckles. Despite his bold name, Riot is more of a shy boy when first encountering new people or environments. Once he warms up, he's pure devotion and wants to be as close as possible, always following by your side like the loyal sidekick he truly is. Whether you're walking around the house or settling in for some quiet time, Riot just wants to be near. He recently discovered the joy of couch snuggles and melted right into them—proving that cuddles might just be his favorite pastime. Riot has entered our PAWS to Freedom training program, working with inmates at the Pierre Minimum Center for 6-8 weeks to learn manners, tricks, and skills to help make his transition to a new family seamless.
