Cassia

Cassia is a delightful young lady, approximately 1 year old and weighing around 65lbs. She came to us from the Santa Cruz Shelter in Nogales, where she was found as a stray. We like to think she might be related to the witty Oscar Wilde, whom we also had the pleasure of caring for! Cassia is blossoming every day, gaining confidence and learning so much from her canine companions. She'd be a wonderful addition to a home with other dogs or as a cherished solo companion. Her DNA reveals an interesting mix of 50% Boxer, 30% Siberian Husky, 12.6% Malamute, 4.7% Chow Chow, and 4.2% Bulldog.

Ideal Home

Cassia would thrive in a home that can continue to support her growing confidence. She gets along well with other dogs and has also shown to be good with children under 8. We're not sure how she would do with children 8 and up.

Ongoing Health

Cassia has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Cassia is house-trained. She is learning and growing every day and would benefit from a home that can continue to provide positive reinforcement and a supportive environment.
