Meet Ellen! This brave girl is ready for a second chance and a loving home where she can truly blossom. Ellen's journey to us had a few bumps, but she's shown incredible resilience and a sweet nature that just needs the right person to discover it.

Ellen is already a pro at sitting, especially when she knows a treat or some affection is in store! Once she feels comfortable and gets to know you, her "wiggle butt" appears, and she'll shower you with sweetness. While she might be a little reserved when first meeting new people, she truly shines once she forms a connection.

Ideal Home

Ellen thrives in a predictable environment where she feels secure. She would do best in an adult-only home and would prefer to be the only dog or have slow, carefully managed introductions to any resident canines.

Ellen has some scars from her past, but they don't dim her spirit!

Training & Support

Ellen is a quick learner and already knows how to sit. She can be a bit aloof and may show some guarding behaviors when initially approached, but she calms down once she's secured and comfortable. She can be tense and reactive towards other dogs, particularly those who are also tense or overly forward. Slow, supervised introductions are key for any potential canine friends.
