Meet Rac, the raccoony pooch! This handsome 62 lb Husky Mix has an estimated birthdate of 3/11/2023. Rac is an outgoing and active boy with a happy-go-lucky attitude that's sure to brighten your days. He absolutely adores playtime with his canine pals, perfecting his zoomies and engaging in spirited toy sessions with his foster dad. Long walks and new adventures are his jam, and while he's still getting the hang of car loading, he truly enjoys the ride once he's in! Rac can be a little shy initially, but with a little patience and love, he blossoms into a loyal best friend. He was rescued from a difficult situation during a winter freeze and has since received extra support and guidance from a trainer to help him adjust to indoor living. Rac is doing wonderfully in his current foster home with his doggy siblings, though he's a bit too energetic for feline friends. His foster dad describes him as very sweet and a big fan of attention!

Transportation
Rac is located in Houston, TEXAS. Transport is included in the adoption fee, and may include pick-up locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates.
