Beauty is exactly what her name suggests—a beautiful soul with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. This sweet senior girl has never met a stranger. She loves people, enjoys meeting new friends, and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a happy attitude. Whether you’re family, a friend, or someone she’s just met, Beauty is ready to share her affection. She is fully crate trained, fully potty trained, and has never had an accident in her foster home. Beauty is one of those rare dogs who slips effortlessly into your routine and asks for very little in return. She’s quiet, respectful, and incredibly easy to live with. Beauty loves going for walks and is wonderful on leash. She is not reactive to people or other dogs and enjoys being out and about. Her foster family has taken her to restaurants, farmers markets, and other public outings, where she has proven herself to be a calm, well-behaved companion. She enjoys greeting people, taking in the sights, and then settling right back down. At home, Beauty is wonderfully low-maintenance. Much of the time you’ll find her quietly snoozing on a dog bed, perfectly content just being nearby. She doesn’t get on furniture and has always chosen her dog bed instead. In fact, her foster family has tried encouraging her onto the couch, but she’s still convinced her cozy dog bed is the best seat in the house. Beauty currently lives in a busy foster home with multiple dogs of all ages and sizes, including young dogs, small dogs, and senior dogs. She does wonderfully with them and has proven to be a very social, dog-friendly companion.
Ideal Home
Beauty would do best in a home without young children, as she has mild resource guarding tendencies and may not understand canine boundaries with little ones.
Ongoing Health
Beauty has a history of untreated allergies that have left her with some ongoing medical needs. She will need an adopter who understands that allergy management is part of caring for her.
Training & Support
Beauty is fully crate trained and fully potty trained. She has mild resource guarding tendencies around high-value items. This is managed easily by picking up toys, food bowls, and other prized resources when dogs are together.
