A little about them
Freya is a 2.5-year-old, 68-pound Doberman with a sweet, goofy personality and a wonderfully gentle spirit. She loves her people, toys, car rides, walks, outdoor adventures, and quietly relaxing beside her family. Her favorite squirrel toys bring out her playful side, and she is food motivated and eager to keep learning.
Ideal Home
Freya would thrive with an active family who wants to include her in everyday life through walks, hiking, running, biking, car rides, and outdoor play. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful. She is affectionate, loyal, friendly, curious, independent, and well-mannered, though she may be shy or timid in new situations and needs patience and reassurance while settling in.
She is great with men, women, children of all ages, and cats. She can be timid when first meeting unfamiliar dogs but is not aggressive and becomes playful with canine friends once comfortable. Freya experiences some storm and separation anxiety, so she needs a compassionate family committed to helping her feel secure.
Ongoing Health
Freya is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on prevention. She has no known health concerns. A health certificate will be provided before transport.
Training & Support
Freya is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night and stays crated when her family is away. She knows Sit, Down, Come, Crate, Leave It, and House; when told “House,” she comes and sits between her person’s legs. She has a strong squirrel prey drive but responds well to “Leave It” and redirection.
