Robin

Robin is a charming 1.5-year-old, 37 lb male Aussie Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love to give. He's a trim and lanky boy who's just looking for his forever best friend and sidekick. Robin was sadly abandoned by his previous family but found a loving foster who helped him feel safe and cherished. He's a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with other dogs, including a playful foster puppy, and he absolutely adores children.

Ideal Home

Robin would likely do best in a home with older children (over 8) as he can get a little too excited with younger ones. An active home would be ideal, providing him with opportunities for runs, hikes, or doggy playdates to help him burn off his youthful energy.

Ongoing Health

Robin is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Robin is already crate and potty trained and is quickly learning leash manners, though he can pull a bit when eager to meet new people. With a little guidance and positive reinforcement, he'll master commands like "four paws on the floor" in no time. As he experienced abandonment, he may need a little extra patience and reassurance to feel fully settled and secure in his new home, but he's incredibly worth the effort.

Transporation

Robin is currently located in South Texas and can be transported to his new adoptive family's home in various states along the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Virginia, among others.
