Training & Support
Penny is still learning the finer points of dog social etiquette and can come on a little strong during play, especially with smaller or more timid dogs. She does best with confident, medium-to-large dogs who are comfortable setting healthy boundaries. She is fully house-trained and has done well being confined to a designated area when home alone, although she is still learning to be fully comfortable with separation. She hasnt been crate trained yet and prefers to be close to her people. She may whine or bark when separated, which stems from her deep bond with her humans. She can be trusted loose in the house when items are picked up and food is put away, but may chew on dog beds when bored. Penny can be protective of her space and high-value items like food or toys around other dogs, so her foster separates her at mealtime and when giving treats.
