Bailey-Sue is a 4-year-old, 57lb spayed female, pittie mix who is equal parts playful, affectionate, and brave. This beautiful girl came to us after surviving physical abuse, and though it took months for her to trust again, her resilience and gentle spirit now shine through. She just needs a patient, loving home willing to let her open up at her own pace; once she does, she's pure love. Bailey is affectionate, smart, playful, and sometimes a little silly. She loves chew toys, car rides, and spending time with her people. When meeting strangers, she can be cautious at first, a mix of curiosity and nerves, but once she warms up, her tail wags nonstop. Because of her past, Bailey needs a home that understands she may take time to feel safe and confident. She may bark or seem unsure around new people or dogs; her reactions are rooted in fear, not aggression. With love, patience, and structure, Bailey blossoms into the loyal, trusting companion she was always meant to be. If you're looking for a devoted, gentle, and loving dog who just needs a chance to show you her heart, Bailey is your girl. She's proof that with kindness and time, trust can be rebuilt, and love always wins.
Ideal Home
Bailey loves to play with other dogs and has done best with dogs around 30-80 lbs. She may do particularly well with a calm male dog who can match her energy and help her feel confident. Slow introductions are key to her success. She absolutely adores kids and currently lives with children ranging from 3 to 17 years old. She's gentle, patient, and happiest when surrounded by her family. Bailey needs a home that understands she may take time to feel safe and confident.
Ongoing Health

Training & Support
Bailey is fully house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping quietly through the night. She's used to eating and enjoying treats in her crate or outside alone. She's never shown any food or toy guarding toward people. When it comes to leash walking, Bailey does best when she's had a little time to burn off energy first. Once settled, she walks nicely without pulling, but if she heads out full of excitement, she might need a few reminders. Continued leash work will help her be her best self.
