Meet Lucy! This sweet girl came to us as a stray, and at first, she was quite scared and unsure of her surroundings. But with a little patience and a lot of love, Lucy has blossomed into a wonderfully affectionate and curious companion. She might be a little shy when she first meets new people, but it doesn't take long for her true, loving personality to shine through. Once she feels comfortable, she's all about cuddles and will happily snuggle up with her favorite humans. Lucy is eager to be by your side and promises to be a devoted "velcro dog" who follows you everywhere. Lucy would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a gentle atmosphere. She's not a good fit for homes with babies or toddlers, as she needs a peaceful environment to continue building her confidence. She also seems to enjoy the company of other small dogs, so a calm canine friend might be a wonderful addition to her new home.
