PEACH

Meet Peach, an 8-year-old Border Collie who is ready for her next assignment! Peach can be a bit shy when she first meets you, and she seems to warm up more quickly to women than men, but she is incredibly sweet once she gets to know you. She loves to be right by your side and truly enjoys gentle massages and petting. Peach possesses very strong herding instincts and likely worked with livestock in the past. She's a very smart girl and appears to understand commands commonly used in herding, such as "down/place" and responding to being directed where to go. While her herding abilities haven't been tested with actual livestock, she's eager to find a role where she can utilize her natural talents. Peach would be happiest as the only dog in the home, as she can get overstimulated and jealous when other dogs are around her people, which can lead to her redirecting her frustration. Due to her strong herding behaviors, she likely wouldn't do well with young children. If a herding job isn't in the cards, Peach would likely excel in other canine activities like agility. She's a sweetheart looking for her perfect new home!
