Meet Gypsy

On January 24, Gypsy was found lying on the side of the road in San Vicente, unable to walk and ignored for days. A mild case of ehrlichia wasnt the cause radiographs revealed a small hip fracture. With strict rest, care, and so much love, this brave girl slowly began to stand, then walk, then wag her tail again.

Despite everything shes endured and being a distemper survivor, Gypsy is incredibly sweet, loves visitors, and soaks up every bit of attention. Shes underweight but gaining strength, confidence, and joy every day.

Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. Youll meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
