Moose

Moose is a 3-year-old Terrier mix with a striking red merle coat, giving him a unique and handsome appearance. Weighing in at 62 lbs, this lovable boy ended up in our care as a stray and is now eagerly awaiting his truly forever home. Moose was previously adopted from our shelter but unfortunately had to be rehomed due to landlord issues. He was found as a stray and brought to us, and we believe he deserves all the love and security in the world. Moose is a social butterfly when it comes to meeting new people and enjoys walks on the leash. While he doesn't mind other dogs, he prefers to be a bit of an independent fellow. He's good with older children and sometimes forgets his size, thinking he's a lap dog!

Ideal Home

Moose would love a home where he can be his independent self. He is good with older kids and does not require a fenced yard. We are able to adopt to families with children.

Ongoing Health

Moose's $300 adoption fee includes his spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchip.

Training & Support

Moose is described as being great on a leash. As he can sometimes forget his size, gentle reminders about personal space might be helpful.

Transporation

Moose is currently at HSSM. We currently have transportation available to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. We are unable to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time due to import regulations.
